Very much so. We can supply travel cots and high chairs on request. All our properties include a selection of games and puzzles. Most have safe enclosed gardens. Your complementary access to Harewood House Trust during your stay gives you access to the House itself, use of the playground and surrounding areas. Plenty to keep the children occupied!
We welcome guests with dogs in the majority of our properties. We charge £5 extra per night and request a maximum of 2 pets per property. We also ask that they do not go upstairs or on sofas.
Bramble Cottage is an ideal property for guests with mobility needs and has wheelchair access
Our properties are accessed via the Weardley Entrance to the Estate, please DO NOT enter via the main arch entrance in Harewood village as you will not be able to reach them this way. We will provide detailed directions with your booking confirmation.
Each stay includes a welcome hamper of Harewood and other local produce, and a selection of ethical ecofriendly premium toiletries.
All of this information is provided within your welcome pack in each cottage. Most major supermarkets will deliver to your cottage. Please contact us for the correct property address. We ask that deliveries are scheduled after your check-in time
We’re ideally situated in the heart of Yorkshire and the perfect location to explore the surrounding areas of West and North Yorkshire. Leeds, Harrogate, York, Wetherby, Otley, Ilkley, the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the North York Moors National Park are all within easy reach for day trips. See your welcome pack in the cottage for further suggestions.
Complementary access to Harewood House Trust, towels and bed linen, all heating and electric costs, coverage from our 24-hour on-site security team, complimentary Wifi and access to rubbish/recycling facilities.
For bookings over 7 nights, our Housekeepers will change linen and towels. For any other additional housekeeping, please contact the team.
We ask for a 25% deposit to secure your booking. Deposits will not be refunded for cancellations within 42 days of the arrival date. Bookings made within 42 days of arrival will require full payment at the time of booking. An additional security deposit of £250 is held to cover the cost of any damage or breakages to or at the property or any additional cleaning. This is not charged; we just hold the amount on the card. The card details will be deleted automatically from our system after your departure if no issues arise.
Theres an option during the booking process to add holiday insurance cover. This is through an external partner Xcover. Please see their T,s & Cs.
Our insurance only covers us for the number of guests that the bedroom capacity states. Additional guests are welcome in the daytime but to respect our other guests, we would kindly ask if you could let us know.
Our stunning Wedding Venue ‘The Hovels’ is a short walking distance from most of our cottages making it a perfect place for you and your guests to stay.
At Harewood Holidays we are thrilled to have partnered with Nomad Saunas who offer stunning traditional wood-fired barrel saunas and Ice Baths. This sauna is located next to our Garden Room and can be booked out for a minimum of one hour or longer.
We ask for as much time as possible to arrange your sauna booking (ideally 2 weeks before). However, should you wish to have it last minute please do get in contact with us and we will see if we can accommodate. Please note that the use of the sauna is an additional fee.
